La única versión de esta canción que apareció en las listas de la revista Billboard alcanzando el puesto número 20 en 1949. La primera vez que la escuché fue en la banda sonora de la película Apollo 13, interpretada por The Mavericks, y desde ese momento me gustó.
Blue moon
You saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Blue moon
You know just what i was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for
Someone i really could care for
And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
And when i looked to the moon it turned to gold
Blue moon
Now i’m no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will ever hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
And when i looked the moon had turned to gold
Blue moon
Now i’m no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Blue moon
Now i’m no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
